Hadspen Car Boot Sale and Christmas Market
Tomorrow Hadspen Lions Club is holding a Car Boot Sale and Christmas Market at the End of Main Street, Hadspen (on the river bank) from 8am to 1pm. It is a no fuss event - no applying or approval process to go through for a stall - just rock up, pay the $5 stall fee and that’s it! This time (because it Christmas is on the way) they are having a fee jumping castle for the kids, face painting for $5 and a $1 sausage sizzle. Who doesn’t love a sausage sizzle?!
Why am I telling you all this? Well I have decided to have a stall and for the past week or so I have set aside my quilting projects to focus on making products for my stall.
You will find many of my different canvases designs including the ever popular cute as a button canvases along with some appliquéd onsies and t-shirts for bub.

I wish I had a little boy to wear the t-shirt with the cute new whale design!
These make the perfect Christmas, birthday or baby shower gift. Any products that don’t sell will be added to my made it store (which is VERY empty at the moment - SORRY) after Saturday. So if you want to have first pick head on over to Hadspen for the car boot Sale and Christmas Market this Saturday 11th December and grab some bargains!

Wheels
Yesterday and today day have not been the most productive for me. I have been in bed for most of the time trying to get rid of a migraine (its all good though, I suffer from them regularly so I know what to do to get rid of them ). Hubby has had to work from home so he could care for our Princess (I am so blessed that he is able to do that). But on the upside I do have a new pattern to share.

Introducing ‘Wheels’ this cot sized quilt is designed for the little man or men in your life. Featuring stylish appliquéd numbers and a boyish transport theme every man, little or big is sure to love!

I love the back of this quilt just as much as the front. As I often do I ordered more fabric than I needed so that I would have extra left over to make the back special too. I have also included fabric requirements to make this back too.

Believe it of not I started this quilt before ‘Baby 123’ but I wasn’t 100 % happy with the design so I set it aside for a while then came back to it and made a few tweaks and this is what I came up with. I am REALLY excited with how this turned out.
You're probably wondering if girls can enjoy ‘wheels’ too? Well our Princess loves cars and when she sees the quilt says, “broom, broom, car” so I suppose "yes" would be the answer.

This quilt was quilted at Esmes. Yep that’s right people Lillian has a one stop shop - fabric, machines, patterns, kits and a quilting service. Who knew?!
If you would like to purchase a copy of Wheels for yourself and your favourite store doesn’t have them in stock ask them to order one in for you or contact me directly.
If you are a store owner and would like to stock this or any other Clares Place pattern's feel free to contact me to place an order.

Quilted: Esmes
