Wheels

Yesterday and today day have not been the most productive for me. I have been in bed for most of the time trying to get rid of a migraine (its all good though, I suffer from them regularly so I know what to do to get rid of them ). Hubby has had to work from home so he could care for our Princess (I am so blessed that he is able to do that). But on the upside I do have a new pattern to share.

Introducing ‘Wheels’ this cot sized quilt is designed for the little man or men in your life. Featuring stylish appliquéd numbers and a boyish transport theme every man, little or big is sure to love!

I love the back of this quilt just as much as the front. As I often do I ordered more fabric than I needed so that I would have extra left over to make the back special too. I have also included fabric requirements to make this back too.

Believe it of not I started this quilt before ‘Baby 123’ but I wasn’t 100 % happy with the design so I set it aside for a while then came back to it and made a few tweaks and this is what I came up with. I am REALLY excited with how this turned out.

You're probably wondering if girls can enjoy ‘wheels’ too? Well our Princess loves cars and when she sees the quilt says, “broom, broom, car” so I suppose "yes" would be the answer.

This quilt was quilted at Esmes. Yep that’s right people Lillian has a one stop shop - fabric, machines, patterns, kits and a quilting service. Who knew?!

If you would like to purchase a copy of Wheels for yourself and your favourite store doesn’t have them in stock ask them to order one in for you or contact me directly.

If you are a store owner and would like to stock this or any other Clares Place pattern's feel free to contact me to place an order.

Fabrics: Riley Blake - Wheels
Quilted: Esmes
