Sneak Peek

For the past week I have been quite sick with a cold.  I am pretty sure I know the words to The Lion King movie off by heart (It was Chloe's movie of choice while I slept on the couch recovering).  I must admit I didn't mind as it is my favourite childhood Disney movie.  I am  feeling better now and hoping I am on the mend but I have I passed my awful cold onto hubby (and Chloe but she seems to be ok for the most part now) :s - I am just hoping we don't continue to pass the cold backward and forward because it sure hit me for a six!.

With that said I feel I must apologise for my lack of sewing posts - truth be told I really haven't done much sewing at all :s  I think it was the morning sickness that kept me from the beautiful fabrics.  I was scared of damaging the fabrics and couldn't bare to be constantly pulled from sewing because of it.  Then to be hit with the cold it just hasn't been happening for me :s !

With that said I have been sketching and designing a bunch of quilts (many of which are pieced and don't include my usual applique or stitchery to make for a few fast projects) that I plan on finishing many of them by the end of the year (fingers crossed) to be released as patterns.  What I can show is a few sneak peeks of my next pattern to be released.

I am just hoping for a good weekend so I can take some more photos and that hubby will be well enough to lend a hand.

Sneak Peek

Life has been slightly crazy of late and filled with ups and downs but let’s just talk about the exciting things.
The other day I headed to Port Sorell to take some photos of a new quilt I have designed and made. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t the best and it was overcast, so I wasn’t able to get any photo’s that showed the full potential and do the quilt justice - sigh.

This pattern has been some time coming and sorry to say you have to wait a little longer. The blue/green one was made and quilted a little while ago but I decided to have a second made in a different colour - oranges and yellows and has a slightly different feature (thanks mum!). I will be doing another photo shoot soon when the weather is better and then be able to show you more than just a sneak preview.
